I have been at Our Lady since 2015. Previously I worked at Holy Family Catholic High School with the titles of Mathematics teacher, department chair and learning specialist. I love using my deep understanding of high school to work with the teachers and students to ensure that we are preparing our students for their next step in education and life. I’m a firm believer in teaching every student where they are at in their education and celebrating everyone’s successes. This is just one reason why I love the Blended Learning model. My husband, Nathan, and I have three beautiful children, Kinley, Callen, and Killian. I grew up in Deephaven and attended St. Therese School. I have completed all of my post high school work at University of St. Thomas. My undergraduate work was in Mathematics and secondary education, masters was in Special Education and my post masters is in Education Leadership.

I have been a parent and volunteer at OLL for 14 years. I have a BS in Marketing from Clemson University. I have 3 children-Madeline, a junior at Holy Family Catholic High School, Patrick a freshman at Holy Family Catholic and Betsy a 7th grader at OLL. My husband, Jerry and I choose Catholic Education for our children because we wanted them to have a Christ based foundation in life. I am thrilled to work in an environment that teaches the whole child: mind, body and spirit.
I look forward to the exciting future of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School!
I have a BS in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota, Moorhead. I am licensed to teach grades 1-6. I have been subbing at OLL for the last four years. I have also been a part time teacher at OLL teaching first grade language arts and math. I have three children--one is currently at OLL and two have graduated and moved on to Holy Family. I am so pleased with the faith based education that my kids have received at OLL. One of the things that I like about Catholic education is the strong tradition of faith based education. I am glad that I can work at a school that combines education with christian values.
After a four year hiatus, Mrs. Isaacs returned to Our Lady of the Lake as part of our preschool team. Mrs. Isaacs taught preschool here for five years before moving on to the Westwood Early Childhood Center in St. Louis Park, and more recently to the Kinder Kare Center in Edina where she was the Assistant Director. Mrs. Isaacs brings with her a wealth of experience and education. She is a graduate of St. Cloud State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, Kindergarten - grade 6. She has taught at St. Bartholomew School in Wayzata, was Assistant Director at Koala Bear Child Care in Spring Park, and was a preschool teacher and a Title 1 teacher for the Westonka School District . In her words, "I am so happy to be returning to Our Lady. It's a school I know and love, and I have always wanted to return! I love the OLL students and the families are so supportive. I am blessed to be coming back!"

I joined Our Lady of the Lake in 2015. I have a BA in Family Life Education from Concordia - St Paul and have 20+ years of experience teaching preschool. The last nine years I have been working for Wright County Head Start in Mound. I love working with preschool children and their families. Preschool children are so excited to learn and explore the world and I enjoy being with them at the start of their educational journey. When I am not working, I enjoy knitting, geocaching and spending time with my friends, family, husband and three children.
I have been a teacher for 23 years, with 18 of those years at OLL. I have a BA in Elementary Education (Licensed for Preschool through 6th Grade), a BS in Psychology and a Minor in Art. I am currently the Kindergarten teacher at OLL. Kids are so eager to learn at this age and are constantly striving for more knowledge. This keeps our environment always revolving and adjusting to their many needs. I have taught in both public and parochial schools and have found my place here at OLL, where I can easily share the teachings of God in every aspect of the curriculum. By modeling the teachings of God, I can see the children evolve in their faith throughout their years here at OLL. I know how important this school is and I am honored to be a part of it!
I graduated from St. Catherine University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (K-6) and a STEM endorsement. STEM stands for science, technology, engineering and math. Although I have not been teaching as long as other teachers here at OLL, I have a passion for working with students. Ever since I was in first grade I have wanted to be a teacher. I believe students learn best through hands-on experiences and interactive lessons. I love using technology such as the smart boards to create fun and engaging lessons. I enjoy watching each student grow throughout the year, observing their relationship grow with the Lord and finding their strengths and interests along the way. When I am not in the classroom I love to do photography, arts and crafts, spend time with my family when they are visiting from Missouri and catch up with friends.

I completed my undergraduate education degree at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN. After graduating, I taught fifth grade at John Ireland in Hopkins. I then took a youth ministry position at St. John the Baptist Church in Savage. After three years of youth ministry, I wanted to return to teaching. I accepted a job at St. Stephen's in Anoka. While working at St. Stephen's, I completed my graduate degree in Educational Leadership. Since I was driving over 80 miles a day to and from St. Stephen's I began looking for something closer to home. I am fortunate to have found my working home here at Our Lady of the Lake. I am excited to work here and learn more about the great OLL community. When I am not learning, I enjoy time with my family, traveling, reading, being crafty, and watching or playing sports. I look forward to working with life-long learners in my classroom!

I am the math specialist at OLL. Specifically, I teach third/fourth grade and middle school math. I graduated from the College of Saint Benedict in 2011 with a BA in Elementary Education, with a concentration in math. I am licensed in K-6 Elementary Education and middle school (5-8) Math. I have been at OLL since 2012 and I am enjoying every minute of it! I believe in creating an open and fun learning environment in all my classes, while bringing real-world experiences to the classroom. I do this through technology-based curriculum and the flipped classroom model. When I am not working, I love to read, watch movies, travel to new and exciting places, and hang out with my husband and my dog.
I did my undergraduate work at the University of Washington and later earned a Master of Arts in Teaching at the University of St. Thomas. After working in the public school system for a couple years, I made the wonderful switch to OLL and Catholic education. I have been at OLL for 18 years and am the music and social studies specialist. I have also taught a plethora of other subjects as needed, and have loved teaching each and every class. I approach every group differently depending on the learning strengths and talent areas of the students. My goal is for all students to be successful and challenged. Most importantly, I love watching our beautiful, talented children mature into creative, considerate, responsible leaders who love the Lord.
I graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education. I have taught music and band in several different schools including Holy Trinity in South St. Paul, Maple Lake Elementary, and Aspen Academy in Savage. I started teaching band at OLL in 2013 and am excited to add the Pre K through 8th grade music classes to my schedule. I absolutely love being a part of the OLL community and being able to share my Catholic faith and passion for music with the students.
When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two kids, running, and playing the piano.
I have been a member of the Our Lady of the Lake and Mound, Minnesota community since moving here in October of 2013. I'm married and have two daughters who attended both Catholic grade and high schools. In those years, I was heavily involved at their schools either as a volunteer or in an official capacity as a 1st grade teacher's aide or after school care program leader. Having moved several times, I've been able to experience a number of different schools and styles. As OLL+ Director, I try to incorporate the best of what I have seen and learned during those years in addition to a strong Christian attitude and sense of community to create a program that makes it easy for your child to have fun, socialize and learn.
I grew up in Duluth and am a graduate of the University of Minnesota Duluth. I am a certified Substitute Teacher for the Archdiocese. From 2003 to 2013 I taught Sunday school, faith formation and Confirmation to kids aged preschool through eighth grade. My husband John and I moved back to his hometown of Mound in 2014. We have two kids here at OLL and two in high school. I began working at OLL in 2015 as school librarian, preschool aide, after caretaker and substitute teacher. Icurrently serve as preschool aide, before and after caretaker and substitute teacher. I love to help students learn, to share the Catholic faith with them and to encourage them in a relationship with God. I am blessed to be a part of the OLL family.
Rhonda Dolan, 1st and 2nd grade Classroom Aide
I am very excited to join the OLL family! I have a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Early Childhood from the University of Iowa. I have 4 years experience teaching in grades two and three. I also have 2.5 years experience teaching in preschool. Most recently I was a First Grade reading and math paraprofessional. I enjoy reading, walking at the Arboretum, and spending time with my husband and three daughters.
Teaching Art and Title I at Our Lady of the Lake are very fulfilling parts of my life. I’ve been here since 1999, starting out as a resource teacher. Since 2003, I have been blessed to be able to use my art degree and love of children to teach art to K-8. I know that nurturing children’s creativity is a very important part of their education and helps them to develop 21st century skills which make them more confident communicators and problem solvers. As Title I teacher, I help students improve their essential reading and math skills in one-on-one or small group settings. OLL’s close, family-like atmosphere, our individualized attention, and our ability to share our faith make this a place where everyone can reach their fullest potential.
